Rev. Sue brings 27 years of experience to her work as an interfaith minister. She was named Staff Member of the Year by the graduating class of Seattle University in 1989, the same year she and her staff were honored for the outstanding new Community Service program in the nation by COOL. Rev. Sue earned her Master of Divinity degree with distinction from the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in 1994. She served as a Roman Catholic Campus Minister at Wellesley College (1994-2000) and Siena College(2000-2002). At Wellesley College, Sue was part of a pioneering interfaith religious and spiritual life program, working with Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, Protestant, Unitarian, Muslim, and LGBT colleagues and students. Rev. Sue began her work at Community Hospice of Schenectady in 2002 serving people from varied religious and cultural backgrounds. As a Hospice chaplain, Sue has conducted over 100 funerals and memorial services. In June 2011, Sue was ordained by One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York City and began officiating weddings in New York State. She has built a reputation for creating unique services for a variety of occasions – working with individuals, couples and community organizations (the Joan Nicole Prince Home in Scotia, NY and the American Cancer Society’s Hope Club in Albany, NY). She is married to the artist, David Arsenault, and has a son, Pete, studying at Colgate University.
