River Stone Manor

River Stone Manor is a very beautiful wedding site. I personally think it is a great place to get married, and would do it again most likely. Amber who most likely is the person you will book your event through is very easy to work with for the most part. The reason I say for the most part, is she likes to offer the ideas of what others do. You may be accepting of these ideas, but personally after planning our wedding for 19 months and had been on sites researching ideas, we knew exactly to a T what we wanted. She at times can get very insistent which I didn't like. She is usually quick to get back to you from emails and voicemails. There were a few times that I felt she could have been more careful on her emails. For example after 19 months of planning she called my fiance Melissa instead of Marissa in an email. There were a couple of other details that she missed which meant more emails back and forth. There was a huge screw up on our wedding day, and that had to do with our seating chart. We had sent them a diagram where we had two rows horizontal and three vertical on each side of the room. Well when they set the room due to the room works better another way and that is three rows horizontal and two rows vertical, this made for some big issues. As my mother-in-law (who flipped the bill) was out by the door (farthest from us), and the same thing happened to all my aunt's and uncle's on my side. Therefore people who should have been out further away from us like second cousins ended up right next to the dance floor, and had a better view. There was also miscommunication over our meal choices. Amber had made our Bistro Steak sound one way, and it was prepared another way. The food itself was very good, but it didn't match what we thought we were getting. We order the Grilled Bistro Steak with Gorgonzola Butter Sauce, and finished with a Demi Glaze. What we got was slices of beef that had been rolled in Gorgonzola Butter spread, and then cooked and finished with a Demi Glaze. To be honest I would recommend that you do a taste test no matter where you go so this doesn't happen to you. As this was our meal choice, it was very upsetting to the both of us! Overall we had a GREAT time, and really did enjoy ourselves. The big superstar of the evening goes to Patty the Banquet Manager. Yes she had to deal with our issues, but overall she was OUTSTANDING and very professional. Skip who is the owner isn't bad either, just at times I didn't get the warm fuzzies from him. Patty is who you want overseeing your event, as she is the absolute BEST! Also ensure you rent the Manor Home, as you will not be disappointed, a great place for the ladies to get ready, and great photos.

Not only is River Stone Manor a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony and reception, the staff is phenomenal and leave the bride and groom care-free all night. Everyone keeps telling my husband and I that our wedding was the best they have ever been to, and I know most of that is due to our fabulous venue. Even in the wake of the destruction of the flooding caused by hurricane Irene which covered the grounds, the staff worked with us to make sure our outdoor ceremony was as beautiful as it would have been if nothing happened. The staff at River Stone are clearly seasoned professionals at running events, and knew how to keep our evening moving and keep our guests happy! The food is amazing (I sampled each of our meal options)! So delicious! I only heard good things about the food all night! We were impressed when the staff kept our meals in the kitchen until we were ready to break from mingling at tables, but we were even more impressed when we later heard they did the same thing for some of our guests that were away from there seats. Everyone had a hot meal and everyone was happy! The staff worked well with our other vendors and the entire wedding flowed without a hitch. It was such a perfect day and I would highly recommend this...

My wedding date was 9-10-11. Yes the BIG DATE of the YEAR! With knowing that, I got the ball rolling quick! I wanted the best of the best.. and I would not settle for anything else! My husband and I immediately starting shopping venues. I went here and there nothing did it for me. All the "it" places in the area were dumpy.. needed to be upgraded... chipped paint in the ball room etc... NEXT! After a frustrating conversation with a dear friend, RiverStone Manor was recommended to us.. talk about a breath of fresh air! The grounds were immaculate, the room was SO clean, the landscaping was so perfect, the tent.. PERFECT! Then the staff.. WOW! My first visit I was blessed to have met Patti and Amber. Amazing ladies, with great patience and very very accomodating! We knew immediately that this was our venue! We had booked RiverSTone 2 year before our date! Each and every time I called with a question.. it was handled as if my date was the following day! Now to fast forward to the week of.. I was one of many brides who were effected by the flood. I was devastated, absolutely besides myself, in tears each and everyday. Skip (the owner) assured me he will do everything in his power to fix the problem and I will have my wedding there, not to worry. Of course I worried.. for no reason at all! I am not sure how they all did it, but the day of my wedding, you would never have known there was over 6 feet of water in the parking lot! I called the town, I spoke to the police, I spoke to firemen, etc. they all said.. if Skip Scarlatta (sorry about the spelling) is handing this.. you are more than fine! He gets the job done! One milion percent the truth! We had the wedding of our dream, food is delicious, room was gorgeous, everything was so great! Love RiverStone.. hopefully we will be having a baby shower there soon :)

Everyone at River Stone did an amazing job not only on our wedding day, but every day leading up to it. Amber and Patty were so helpful, answering all my questions and making suggestions. The day of the wedding, everything ran smoothly, and if there was a problem, I didn't know about it! Every detail was perfect. The food was amazing, the river and grounds of the Manor or gorgeous. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!

We are so pleased with River Stone Manor. Skip, Amber and their team did a fantastic job. Our guests raved about how beautiful the location was and how fantastic the food was as well. Our wedding turned out just as beautifully as we imagined and would definitely reccomend this location to any other couple looking for a fantastic place to have their special day.

I don't think 5 stars accurately described our experience at River Stone. We pulled our wedding together in 6 months and I can't imagine ever wanting to have a wedding ceremony or reception anywhere else. We planned our ceremony outside by the river, but Mother Nature didn't cooperate at the last minute and it poured. Skip and his staff moved all of our guests inside within 5-10 minutes and we had the ceremony in the ballroom. I was disappointed we couldn't be outside, but my guests RAVED about the ceremony and how they loved being inside the ballroom with the air conditioning (it was also the hottest and most humid day in July). The food and service was far superior to any wedding we've ever been to and I have heard nothing but praise from everyone who attended, even those who are not shy about voicing negative opinions. Other than marrying my husband, choosing River Stone was the best decision I ever made!

Amber and skip are extremely helpful! They coordinated the entire ceremony and reception and it was amazing! The property is breathtaking, the service is remarkable, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the manor house is perfect. This place really makes you have your fairytale wedding. I could not have dreamed of a better place to have our special day!

I can not say enough good things about River Stone Manor. I feel in love with the location the first time I stepped foot on their property, and may love it even more now that I'm married. All of the staff at River Stone was so helpful through out my wedding planning. They always were always friendly when I called with questions about my ceremony and reception (even when it was still over a year away) and made my planning simple. All of our families and friends can not stop talking about how beautiful and perfect our wedding was. Skip and his staff were amazing, and made everyone feel right at home. It was so nice to not have to worry about anything on the day of my wedding because they took care of it all. I couldn't imagine using any other venue for our wedding.

River Stone was amazing in every way! Skip and his team were helpful, responsive, flexible and so accomodating. The ceremony was held outside and was absolutely breathtaking. Cocktails were served on the beautiful patio and the reception was held in the main banquet hall. The food was exquisite, the ambiance was elegant and many people told us that it was the most beautiful wedding that they had ever been to. I HIGHLY recommend River Stone.

The Staff at River Stone Manor was a pleasure to work with. They were very professional and did everything they could to make sure that we were happy and had everything we needed during our wedding. Their facility and grounds are absolutly breathtaking. All of our guests kept coming up to us and commenting on how beautiful our wedding was and how great the food was. They treated every one of our guests with respect and made sure that everyone was safe while having a great time. It was truely a magical night...and we are so happy with our decision to have our cermony and reception at River Stone. We have absolutly nothing to complain about...everything was wonderful!

River Stone Manor is a beautiful setting with reasonable prices for delicious food! The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. Highly recommended.

I knew that I only had 14 months to book my wedding and this was where we wanted it. We went and met with our coordinator and were so impressed that we booked it that very day. We had absolutely no problems what so ever in regards to the River Stone and if I had to do it all over again I definately would

River Stone Manor made planning our reception a breeze. We got to customize our package and they pretty much handled everything. We originally thought we would need to hire a wedding planner to make our vision happen but we didn't- they took care of everything and the reception want by without a hitch. Our guests never felt rushed!

We fell in love with the Riverstone Manor as soon as we saw it beautiful scenery the reception area was very accomadating to all of the guests, the staff went up and beyond, I got ready their and all the girls also were their and the staff was at our beck and call that morning whatever we wanted or need they were there to give it to us, Our Ceremony was outside and they were very accomadating to all guests as well as all involved in the wedding. I would highly recommend the River Stone Manor
