Polis photo really captured the feeling of our wedding day perfectly. We were left with beautiful outdoor shots which reminded us more of a Pre-Raphaelite painting, than your typical wedding shoot, which was perfect! It was like Cricket could just tell exactly what we were going for at our wedding, and found that in the setting of the photos, and in how she took them. She loves doing this, and you can tell in the photos she takes. It was great to have a team of photographers, because while Cricket was taking photos of myself and my family and bridesmaids at my house, they were able to catch the groom and his party at his, and then while Cricket was getting photos of us after the ceremony, there was someone at the reception taking pictures at the cocktail hour. This was great because it meant we got to see a lot of what we missed while taking photos and doing all those things you end up doing at your wedding! (There is always something!) In the end we would definitely recommend Polis Photo for your wedding, they are able to take a mix of classic, as well as unexpected shots, to really capture the feel and emotions of your wedding day.

I hired Crickett and Dean to photograph my wedding in August in Vermont and am I glad I did! Every photo was so creative, Crickett definitely goes the extra mile when editing to add cool effects and shading to make some pictures look vintage and so unique, I have had so many compliments on them! I would definitely recommend Polis photography to any bride out there looking for a photographer, they were great to work with!

So much fun - offered good tips for ultimate results- creative and playful- flexable and reasonable pricing- overall I have no complaints and recomend to any couple - all your friends will say your picture look like they came out of a magazine! Go polisphotography!

Polis Photography did a wonderful job with providing the most incredible pictures for our post-wedding shots! They actually turned out better than our wedding photos! We had hired Polis photography to do our wedding in Vermont but then we decided to have a smaller wedding down in Key West, Florida. So after calling up Crickett and letting her know what was going on, we asked her if she could still do a photo shoot once we got back to Vermont. She said yes! So we met her out at their studio and took so many fun pictures that turned out incredible! Crickett and her crew not only took amazing photos but they were fun and helped us get ready for the shoot. Polis Photography was a great choice for our June 11, 2011 wedding at The Essex in Essex Junction, VT. Not only did Crickett and Dean capture beautiful photos, but they worked very efficiently with the timeline and we were even able to enjoy the majority of our cocktail hour! Crickett has an eye for capturing beautiful shots of all the details of the wedding, which really made all the hard work I put in as a bride feel worth it. Polis Photography was also an exceptional value to have not one, but two very skilled photographers capturing all the special moments from different angles. After the completion of all the more formal photographs, Crickett and Dean slipped behind the scenes and were able to capture hundreds of amazing photos I didn't even realize were being taking. I have really enjoyed looking at all the photos of my guests up on the dance floor having a blast and the many photos of friends and family laughing and talking together. My husband and I were first attracted to Polis Photography because of the more creative/fine art approach to photography. When we met with Crickett she was prepared with wedding albums of all shapes and sizes, and was willing to work with us to get what we wanted for a price that we could afford. On the day of our wedding both she and her father took pictures of the ceremony, so that we could see everything from different angles. Also, while Crickett was taking pictures of us with our bridal party, her father was able to get pictures of the reception before everything started, along with pictures of our guests arriving. After receiving our wedding photography discs, we were not disappointed. The pictures are beautiful, and great representations of the best day of our lives.
