Matt Ramos Photography

Most of my friends would describe me as picture happy. Everywhere I go I am the one to document the event. So when I got engaged the first thing I looked into booking was my photographer. The pictures were one of the most important things for me and I need to book the best. After tons of research I decided to interview what I considered the top two photographers in the area. Both took amazing pictures but after meeting Matt, my now husband and I decided he was the perfect fit for us. Booking him almost 2 years before our wedding we knew early on we had made the right choice. He came down to NYC for our dream engagement photo shoot in central park (a 3 hour drive) and the pictures came out amazing. I knew then our wedding pictures were going to be amazing. On my wedding day I was so excited when he arrived with his team. Not only is he an amazing photographer but a wonderful person. I can seriously sit here and type about how much I LOVED all our picutres and how he lived up to my high expectations but I rather you see his work yourself. Having been an out of town couple for our wedding, we had never met Matt before selecting him. Everywhere we went we kept hearing his name and how much his previous clients enjoyed working with him. All the vendors we chose spoke very highly of him. To say the least, we snagged him up as quick as we could. When we finally got to meet Matt ( a few months later) we couldn't have been happier! In every meeting he was not only very nice and easy to talk with but very knowledgable about the products and services he could provide. Everything from the album design to the day of details was user friendly for out of town couples. On the day of the wedding Matt was direct and thorough about taking BEAUTIFUL pictures! We were even able to join our guests for cocktail hour! Our pictures are better than we ever could imagined! It was beyond a pleasure and so much fun working with Matt on our special day! Matt was absolutely AMAZING. I couldnt have been happier at how our photos came out!!!!! He was so professional and was able to shoot everyone and everything we wanted even when it was such a crazy day, and our photo spot was flooded. You wouldnt even know we are basically in a parking lot. He was so creative with everyone and let us do our own thing, also providing guidance on other things. I have had SOOOO many people rave about our pcitures. We were so blessed to have him be apart of our big day and would reccommend him to anyone, for ANY occassion that you would need photos taken!!!!!!!! THANK YOU MATT AND JAMAICA!!! If you would like a photographer that not only takes incredible photos, but listens to your priorities and is easy to work with, Matt is your man. Matt is extremely thorough in both his photography and his knowledge of the couple/families. Matt offered great suggestions and insights, but always allowed us to make the decisions. Everyone in the bridal party and on both sides of the family enjoyed working with him. That is rare! We love our photos and have no idea how we will choose for the album.

After our first meeting I knew I wanted to work with Matt, and never once regretted my decision. He is professional and knowledgeable. He is very responsive to questions or concerns. Most importantly he is amazing at what he does. His pictures speak for themselves. He worked great with our other vendors the entire day, and I can not tell you how many compliments we receive on our pictures. They are simply stunning. I plan to recommend him to everyone I know. He has an eye for great shots and knows how to keep things moving, and you can tell he truly enjoys his job, so the entire process is fun, and it was a pleasure working with him and his staff.

My wife, Jennifer and I hired Matt Ramos Photography under some pretty interesting circumstances. We had originally hired a different photographer (to remain nameless) and after our engagement session realized that the service being provided was “extra-ordinarily awful” We subsequently fired that individual and met with Matt Ramos – immediately we fell in love with his personality and work. In my opinion, the most important factor in deciding on a photographer – or any wedding professional for that matter is “PERSONALITY.” On my wedding day, he was able to capture moments based on his ability to make us laugh and feel comfortable throughout the entire day. Even Jamaica, his assistant was awesome. Within a week (while we were in Figi) he had teaser images up on his blog for us to see. That was so nice. He literally made us feel like we were his only client, even after our event was over. It’s so important to choose someone passionate about what they do with Matt it’s more than obvious!! Matt shot my wedding in April at the Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs, NY. He was wonderful to work with from the first time I corresponded with him. Every time I emailed him, hed responded within an hour or two - usually less! While the wedding was inside, we were hoping to take some outside photos before the ceremony...the forecast wasn't looking great, and we communicated up until the morning of the wedding to finalize the plan (literally, we didn't decide WHERE we would take the pre-ceremony shots until that morning!). They all ended up looking absolutely gorgeous. Friends have told me that others who have caught them looking at pictures of our wedding online asked if they were from a magazine! Very happy to have these photos as a memory of such an amazing day!
