I can't say enough AMAZING things about Longfellows! Not only was it the most beautiful venue, the food was phenomenal, the waitstaff and planners were SO accommodating, even though we decided to have quite a non-traditional wedding. The staff at Longfellows rolled with all our craziness, helped us with everything & bent over backwards to help us with everything we needed! I'd recommend them to anyone!

Longfellows Inn was the best decision we made regarding our wedding! Rebekah and staff were amazing! When searching for vendors we felt many times like people were ignoring us yet at Longfellows we always felt like a priority. When we arrived for our meeting just to discuss the potential, they were prepared with a packet, gave us a tour and we were over the moon! It was a done deal at that moment! As preparations continued, the experience was better and better! Rebekah was our consultant, if we had any questions ever, she or someone else on staff responded immediately! The tasting was maybe the best part of the experience! We were brought to the bridal suite and had a sampling with the Chef! Amazing! We even got a complementary picture of the day...when you say it is in the details- Longfellows means it!Our wedding day couldn't have been better! The courtyard was prepared by Rebekah- we left our decorations 3 days early with some inspiration pictures and when we walked in it was enchanting! The food was raved about by one and all...we even made sure to have ours! They made a special day even more special! I can't begin to describe the joy we felt!At the end of the evening Marianne brought us left overs for midnight and rest of the week snacking! She brought all of our gifts and decorations back to our complementary suite! It was amazing to walk just steps from our reception and head up to rest our happy and weary heads! To the staff at Longfellows we can't thank them enough for an amazing day!

Longfellows is a wonderful venue for a wedding. My husband and I met with all of the girls: Rebekah, Brenda, and Gerri during our wedding planning process. All of them were helpful, but we had no idea how amazing our wedding would end up being. During the ceremony and reception, my husband and I did not have to lift a finger, make a decision, or think about anything except ourselves and our time together. Gerri and the reception staff were amazing and coordinated every detail - they even had our gifts and leftover cake waiting for us in our room (with a bottle of champagne)! I can't say enough about how happy we are with our choice. Longfellows is amazing.

Wonderful location. Pond area is great for photos. Food was excellent. Alot of bang for buck.

We had our wedding catered by longfellows and held at the canfield casino just a coupld of weeks ago. I honestly can't say enough! Although I think we had met and spoken with each of their coordinators, Geri was our coordinator for our BIG day and I can't say enough about how special she made our day. No matter how unprepared we may have felt she seemed to pick up the peices and make it seem as though it was no problem at all. In the chaos of everything we even had forgotten a cake topper. We gave her a few extra roses and to our surprise our cake was absolutely gorgeous! We loved every part of our big day and everything was perfect. Much thanks to Geri for meeting with us twice in one day, as we were planning from out of town and the only day we fould run through final things was the day of our rehearsal. She met with us that morning and then later in the evening to attend our rehearsal. She was great! The staff that night were excellent. We couldn't say enough about them. So professional, happy, and responsive. When my 95 year old great aunt and uncle were having difficulty cutting their meals, without a second thought 2 staff members came up, took their plates, and cut their dinner. How great! They made sure to ask us as the bride and groom is there was anything they could change or do for us following dinner and then didn't "bother" us again....(not that, that was a bother at all). Even at the end of the night, as they packed up their trucks they still had smiles on their faces. I would def recommend longfellows as a caterer for any of your events!

I had an excellent experience with Longfellows. They were on top of everything and I loved the package that we chose. Buffet style meals for an excellent price. Everything went off without a hitch!

Wow, phenomenal! We held our wedding at the Canfield Casino and they didn't offer too much guidance in any way what so ever. That is where Longfellows stepped in and made our wedding positively outstanding. Geri Thompson was our lady for our wedding and she really stepped in and helped run the show, which is exactly what we needed because we didn't hire a wedding planner and had never ran a wedding ourselves before! Longfellows provided us with as many meetings as we requested to go over any single little detail, they fortunately offered their services during the ceremony (so we weren't just a bunch of random people trying to orchestrate a wedding) and came out for the rehearsal as well. Their staff was hands down, top notch, always there to get us whatever we needed yet never in our way or too pushy. Longfellows had worked with the Casino before and also my florist so they new the ropes in and out, they worked fantastically with my other vendors so all together my whole wedding went perfectly smooth, like they had been practicing for our specific wedding for years. When it came to food, Longfellows provided us with a complimentary tasting with was outstanding. They took us to a private, very sweet room in their restaurant where we went over a wide menu and many catering details. The Chef came out and personally introduced himself as he brought out each dish and explained it to us. It was a very relaxing, informative and delicious experience! Food on the wedding day really blew people out of the water. It was some of the most delicious food we've ever tasted, let alone wedding food! We're still receiving endless comments on how much and how delicious it was!If you really want an outstanding wedding, I highly recommend choosing Longfellows for your caterer, the moment you start to get stressed just go sit down at a meeting with them and you'll walk away relaxed, relieved and super excited!

I would absolutely recommend Longfellow's to any bride. They were responsive, helpful, and professional. In my opinion, they went over and above their obligations to make our wedding day stress free and really just perfect for us. We had about 80 guests attend our reception here, and this venue accommodated us perfectly. Not too crowded, but also very quaint and welcoming.

I had both my ceremony and reception at Longfellows, and it turned out beautifully!! I got ALOT of compliments from everything from the food, drinks, decorations, and charm. Having the ceremony on the bridge over the pond was breathtaking, although seating was very limited. I would highly recommend Longfellows!

This was the perfect venue for a wedding reception. The service was amazing and the food was perfect. I was impressed from every aspect! There was another wedding going on in the main dinnnig area (ours was upstairs in the loft) so I was a little concerned that we wouldn't get enough attention from the staff. I was VERY WRONG... we were treated as though we were the only party there. I would reccommend Longfellows over and over again. Every person ranted and raved about how amazing the food was!

I was very pleased with Longfellow's staff, restaurant, hotel and ceremoney site. I agree with another bride who said they are reasonable and affordable. I went to a bridal show at the Best Western a few months ago and some of their prices were higher than Longfellows and the place was a dump. I would highly recommend a ceremoney and or reception at Longfellows. The food is fabulious the atmoshpere is georgous and it's one stop shopping. Rebekah is very nice and highly accomodating as well. Many of my guests said the food was some of the best they have ever had! Highly recommend NY Strip it's aged and very delicious. Side note you might get Sundays for a discount in the off season but during the summer and spring Sunday's run at the same rate as other nights. Good Luck to Everyone and Have Fun! Although I would say that I stayed overnight in the hotel and was up early to inspect the site and my friend and myself found a few corrections. Always bring a friend to help you take care of the little things! You'll need them!

I was overall very pleased with this vendor. My wedding was everything I ever wanted. I was a little disappointed because there were a few request I made that seemed to fall through the cracks...I had to remind them a few times they agreed to do certain things. Overall though it was beautiful event and Longfellows was very much responsible for making it wonderful.

Out of any of the vendors we used, Longfellows were the best. Even though there was a different wedding earlier in the day, we had no idea and were treated as if we were their only clients.

Rebekah Foster was our coordinator there, and I swear she kept me sane. Plus, their packages are very all-inclusive, and being the data-nut that I am, I did a spreadsheet normalizing and comparing multiple local reception sites. Once you equalized open bar, wedding cake (both included), etc., they were actually less expensive than every other place we looked at, even some less "classy" places. The room is deceiving - it can look enormous, or be made to be very quaint, which was important to us with 68 guests. We got a discount for having a Sunday wedding, which also allowed us full flexibility on schedule for the day. The staff was wonderful to us. The HOTEL staff during the reservations process for out of town guests left something to be desired, but Rebekah took care of remedying any of their mistakes. They also take care of a lot of the "grunt work", and provide most of the decorations needed, saving us a lot of time and money.I couldn't have been happier.

They are VERY flexible! The original date of my wedding was Nov 12th but about 6 months before the wedding the date needed to change and they were able to get me in for Oct 29th (exactly two weeks earlier). The price is well worth it! Some people may consider it one of the more expensive places but EVERYTHING is included in that price, from drinks to the wedding cake...and if you have more than 80 people attending your wedding you get a room for free on your wedding night. Also, one year after your wedding they will send you a gift card for $25 to come back and enjoy dinner there for your one year anniversary. The food is out of this world and they attend your every need, if you have a sweetheart table your have your own personal waitress that only services the two of you.If you are looking for an outdoor wedding experience but are worried about getting rained on Longfellows is the place for you! If you are looking for a place that will knock both you and your guests socks off Longfellows is definitely the place for you!

LongfellowÂ’s was wonderful for the wedding reception. They catered to me and did everything that I asked of them. They also set up everything (seating cards, centerpieces, etc) just the way I wanted. The problem I had with them was the next morning. DH and I held a brunch the next morning in their private loft. All were welcome. The coordinator and I agreed to a price of $5 per person if they stayed the night at the inn. $10 per person if they did not stay. When I went to pay the bill it was over $400 for 20 people. They had to charge for 35 people since that's what I originally told them would be there. That I understood. But then I see on the bill that they charged me a flat rate of $12.50 per person. I had booked with Longfellow's back in 2004 and that's when my coordinator and I agreed to the lower prices. Since 2004 their prices went up. My coordinator was not working Sunday morning and forgot to leave a note for the acting manager. I had to pay the full $400 or they wouldn't let me leave. Monday morning my coordinator called me and everything was straightened out and my money was refunded. But that was not something I wanted to deal with the morning after my wedding
