Hunter Mountain

My husband and I got married at Hunter Mountain on October 8, 2011. It was amazing - we had such a wonderful ceremony at the summit and so much fun at the Copper Tree for our reception. Debbie is fantastic, David is so organized, Val is so sweet and on top of everything, and the staff at the Copper Tree are professional, accommodating, and friendly. Everyone had an unforgettable time!

Our wedding was Oct 1 2011 and it was a truly magical day. Hunter Mountain was the reason it was so magical. Debbie and David were so professional and organized they made things happen and did it with a huge smile. Even though it rained and we had to move the ceremony indoors, the team worked hard and fast to set it up in less than an hour and the room was totally transformed. It was so beautiful. And even though it rained the WHOLE day, I wouldn't change a thing. Hunter Mountain really knows how to host a wedding. Any bride would be lucky to have their wedding there.

Hunter Mountain is such a wonderful place to have your wedding. Debbie was so accommodating through everything and always responded to me right away. She helped me through all the wedding planning, and was like a go to gal for all my questions. We got married at the top of the mountain which was the most amazing thing we could have ever done, and it is worth every penny! The food was out of this world wonderful and the reception hall is so beautiful. Price wise, I can see spending a lot more somewhere else and getting a lot less. I would highly recommend Hunter Mountain for anyone looking to have a unique wedding!

As father of the groom I was a bit skeptical when I learned that my daughter-in-law had chosen Hunter Mountain for her wedding venue. Come on Hunter Mountain is a ski resort. I was totally wrong! Hunter Mountain was a fantastic choice! The resort is physically beautiful, large enough to accommodate 200+ and convenient to NYC and Boston. The best of Hunter Mountain is the exceptionally talented staff. Everyone I came in contact with was superb. Debbie and all the other personnel are totally professional, know what they are doing and do it superbly well. Every detail was perfect and then some. When the weather turned bad, they relocated the entire ceremony indoors in a few minutes. I thought the weather was going to clear, but they were right. In the middle of the ceremony the sky opened and it poured. The reception was perfect, the food excellent and the service superb. I wish I could thank them all personally for the fantastic service we received. Everyone had a wonderful time. I know for certain that my son married a very, very smart girl in choosing Hunter Mountain.

The Kaatskill Mountain Club was the perfect site to get married at! Everything ran seamlessly and they helped us create the most perfect night. The staffs' attention to detail really helped make the wedding ceremony and reception top notch. The staffs' professionalism and flexibility made them a pleasure to work with! We could not have had a more "perfect" wedding!

Hunter Mountain provided the best atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing coordinators and absolutely worry free wedding. The staff at Hunter Mountain was able to accomplish every detail that we asked of them. They even included a few details that we didn't plan, like a welcome agenda for our guests at the hotel. They made the entire process of planning the wedding at Hunter a very worry and stress free experience. I highly recommend Hunter Mountain as a ceremony and reception venue.

We had our daughters wedding at Hunter Mountain on May 29, 2011, Memorial Day Weekend. We all took the lift ride up to the summit of the mountain where the ceremony took place. The views are breathtakingly beautiful. The reception took place at the CopperTree Restaurant at the base of the mountain. It was the most wonderful day and all of the staff at Hunter Mountain are amazing. The food was fantastic. I could not say enough about how well we were treated there. I cannot imagine a more perfect wedding day! Thanks especially to Debbie Reilly and David Kukle!

We had an absolutely lovely wedding at Hunter. The staff were all extremely professional, accomodating, and flexible with all regards of the event. We had planned to have our ceremony outdoors, however there were forecasts of thunderstorms on the actual day. The staff met with us ahead of time to discuss a backup plan in the event that we had to move things indoors in order to make sure we were happy with everything, however, on key benefit to having your wedding at a ski resort is that they are experts on local weather patterns and have their own equipment on site to monitor it up to the minute. We were given forecasts on the morning and early afternoon of the wedding day, and they explained that the clouds would get split by the moutain top, so the storms would miss us - and that is EXACTLY what happened. The sky opened up in the late afternoon, resulting in a stunningly goregeous ceremony on the mountain and a wonderful cocktail hour on the patio of the lodge. I can't thank the staff of Hunter Mountain enough for their efforts in ensuring that our event went off without a hitch. From the planning stages all the way through the brunch the morning after the wedding, their staff was the epitome of professionalism and I would strongly recommend them as a wedding site to anyone. Excellent service, food, and accomodations. Thank you for a wonderful day that we'll always remember.

The personnel working in the Copper Tree Room could not have been more accommodating. From the ceremony at Pine Grove to the coctail hour and the reception everything went perfectly smooth. 97% of our guests stayed over at the Kaatskill Mountain Lodge and the night before we had a reception and after the wedding most people went back to the outside fire pit which was so much fun. I would recommend Hunter Mountain as a wedding destination to anyone without reservation. Thanks again, Debbie, Cara, Dave and the staff at the Copper Tree and the Kaatskill Mountain Lodge.

Everyone at Hunter Mountain was so nice and went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was as perfect as planned! My father is disabled and wheelchair bound and they were extremely helpful every step of the way, making sure he could get to the top of the mountain and take part in all of the festivities!

Debbie and the staff at Hunter Mountain helped to give us the greatest wedding we could have asked for. They were extremely professional and accomodating, working with my wife and I to tailor the event to our exact specifications. It's been months since we've gotten married, but we are still hearing from people about how ours was one of the best weddings they've been to, and also hearing from people who weren't even there that they merely heard how great the wedding was. Getting married on top of a mountain was an experience that neither my wife and I nor our guests will ever forget. With all of this, I have to say that the price was very reasonable when compared to other venues, and the other places had nothing on this location.

Hunter mountain provided a beautiful ceremony location on top of the mountain and an equally impressive recveption venue in the Copper Tree room. When our wedding did not meet the minimums typically required to reserve this room, the staff worked with us to accomodate our smaller numbers and still have the space we wanted. The staff the day of the wedding was exceptional, even going so far as to help guests carry centerpieces out to their cars. David saw to every logistical detail and put a worried bride's mind at ease!
