Elegant Touch

Elegant Touch catered our wedding this past weekend and it was wonderful. Kim and Deb went out of their way to make sure that everyone was happy. The food was amazing and got compliments all night. We really liked that we chose the food rather than looking at a set menu and picking 3 dishes. Not only was the service and food amazing, the price was very affordable. They did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

One of 4 options that were offered by the Wedding Venue. Kim and Deb like to be in charge, and are very good at offering advice and suggestions. The food was not very memorable. The guests did seem happy. We had a Stationary Bistro Display (can’t really remember that), 3 passed Hors d'œuvre (they were all great, kind of wish they had been the main courses!), a buffet and carving station. I requested that they use light salt on all of the dishes, I was assured that they would even put a sign up in the kitchen to remember to go light on the salt. One of the main entrees was a beef tenderloin (carving station). The piece of beef that I received was almost inedible, with the amount of salt on it. Me and my groom were introduced to a member of the staff at the beginning of the evening and were told that she would take care of anything that we needed, that was the last time we saw her for the whole night. Not that I needed someone to fetch me food or drinks, but it was odd that we were advised that she would be taking case of us than she disappeared.We also had 3 children that we paid a separate charge so that they could have a different menu (chicken fingers and fries). The kids were not served any chicken fingers or fries.

There were definite plusses and minuses to choosing Elegant Touch as our caterer. Initially, the management was very cordial and professional, before we signed a contract. Afterwards, the owner Debbie was very much the opposite; "abrasive" comes to mind. She was not open to our needs, but rather wanted to do what would be easiest for her. On the day of our wedding, the wait staff was very professional and kind, and they did a wonderful job setting up and serving. The food was good, for the most part, although a touch pricey. They will provide good food for your guests, however you need to be prepared to deal with Debbie; she needs to be kept in line from the beginning, or she'll walk all over you.

We hired Elegant Touch after comparing the local competition and on recommedation of a few friends.... and we were not disappointed. The amount of food we had for our guests was above and beyond what we expected. We definitely got our moneys worth! All the staff and especially Kim and Deb were so helpful and understanding (I was probably not the easiest bride, nervous wreck) and made sure that any concern or fear I had was relieved. Their displays were AMAZING! Kim is truly a culinary artist with her food! Totally recommend them to ANYONE and EVERYONE

I recently got married and had the pleasure of having Elegant Touch as my catering company. I must say the level of professionalism was fantastic which seems to be few and far between these days. The food served was fantastic which I must thank Chef Kim for. The waitstaff was kind, courteous and efficient. The person I had my meetings with Deb was phenomenal. She listend to every idea I threw at her as well as gave me other great ideas I could tie into the ones I had already tought of. For that Deb I thank you! If your planning your wedding and need the perfect caterer, I strongly recommend Elegant Touch for your special day!

I did not use their service as of yet. But I did watched them set up and decorate for an event at The Appel Inn and it was lovely. The food was fresh and there were lots of it. I display dishes were so elegant no wonder they have that name. If you are having a large event I suggest Elegant Touch. The Appel Inn could not have partnered with a better service.

I was so so so pleased with this company. They had the best service! They are on the expensive side of things, but well worth it. Each dish they served was better than the last. Debbie worked with us from the beginning and made everything we wanted happen! She was understanding and listened to what we like and didn't like. They had a great staff and made sure everything went smoothly. She was almost like a wedding planner, making sure nothing went wrong and getting us to the right places and everything! I would recommend this caterer to anyone! Everything was PERFECT!!!
