Chris Wright was wonderful to work with! His communication is prompt, he is helpful, and will answer any question you throw his way! The Discovery DJs of New York website is easy to navigate with tons of songs on it and also has a planning form that really helps set the schedule and expectations of the day. Chris was very professional; he arrived early, was all set up, and ready to go with time to spare. Many of my guests complimented his style and friendliness. Guests were dancing all night long. Exactly what I wanted!

Discovery DJs of New York, Chris Wright, was amazing from the start. He is incredibly responsive, and I had a meeting set-up with him, at our house, right off. We spoke with a couple DJ's at bridal shows, but no one made a first impression like Chris did. With his iphone and ipad in hand, willingness to come to our home, and his great personality, our decision was very easy!
The online planning forms are simple and easy to use. Any song you can't find on there, Chris will. In the days leading up to the wedding, Chris was very responsive to questions, concerns, etc.
Our reception was amazing, the music was fantastic and people were dancing all night long!

Discovery DJs of NY did a FANTASTIC JOB at my wedding!!! My husband and I only interviewed one DJ and we knew right from the first meeting that we made the right choice. Chris kept everyone dancing all night long. We gave him a long list of songs to "play if possible" and he played almost every one. He had the timing right on all the songs and got everything that we had requested on hand. It was great being able to find all the songs online, and keep track of them that way too.
Chris was a pleasure to work with and very friendly. If I ever need a DJ for any future events, Chris will be the first person I call. My dad, who is a very hard person to please, was super happy with Chris's services. He was raving about him for days after the wedding, and telling everyone who would listen how good of a job the DJ did for his daughters weddings. "I was extremely impressed! One of the best I've seen" My father.
All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better DJ for my wedding. He made everything stress free and made a memorable day for everyone!

Chris was awesome! He met with us an extra time so I could feel at ease and let him know our last minute details. He was there super early to set up and did a great job introducing everyone and with his selection of music!! Fantastic!

DJ Chris is the best, he did everything we asked from him and more. I would never go with another DJ for an event. He is easy going and does an awesome job with the lights, music and announcements. He found music that we wanted played that he didn't already own. He's also affordable, and really nice to talk to!

What can we say - CHRIS ROCKS!!! From the very first contact e-mail all the way to the last dance, Chris was AWESOME! Everything was perfect. We and our guests had a blast on the dance floor, and everyone is still talking about all the fun we had getting our grooves on. My husband and I couldn't have asked for more. Chris, thank you so very much for putting all the time and effort into making our ceremony and reception unforgettable! You're the best!

Chris, the owner of Discovery DJs of New York, was a fantastic addition to our wedding plans. He was available whenever we had questions through both phone and email, helped us plan some key moments, and even had online software for picking music that was incredibly simple to use. We never heard a "no" out of his mouth when it came to music. He found several non-standard live versions of songs we wanted played without hesitation.
At the actual wedding, he was a consummate professional. We did not host a bar-mitzvah or long island style wedding, we had looked for someone that could play a variety of music to get people dancing without becoming the center of attention himself. Chris did this marvelously. He took requests throughout the night and all our guests were asking where we found this guy the next morning. His talent and professionalism are beyond measure and I would recommend him for any function you are having. He is that good.

Chris Wright was everything we had hoped for in a dj. He was more than professional, played a great selection of music throughout the entire wedding. All of our guests commented on the fun selection of music that was played. If we were to do it all again, I would definitely book Chris Wright as our dj. He was organized and very personable, helpful from our first meeting to the end of our wedding.

For new brides, planning a wedding can be extremely stressful at times. Chris definately helped to diminish that stress. Every time I had a question, he responded within hours of the initial e-mail.
The actual day of the wedding, Chris was wonderful! He made sure the reception flowed to our specifications. I was really amazed how well he was able to read the crowd and seemed to always play crowd favorites. I was honestly thinking with the five songs I requested he would be at a loss. I was pleasently surprised to see many people dancing and singing at the top of their lungs all night long. Even my country western father enjoyed the wide varierty of music played.
Chris and his DJ skills rocked the reception, and exceeded my every expectation! I would highly recommed him to any future bride!

Chris Wright was a pleasure to work with. He has a high level of professionalism, and dedicated to pleasing his customers. Even though I know he had other clients, I always felt like I was his only client due to his sense of urgency to respond to any of my questions or concerns leading up to our big day. He even put me at ease, and was able to calm my nerves a few days before our wedding, as he helped me solidify the timeline for my somewhat non-traditional wedding and wedding party. At our wedding itself, Chris looked awesome in his tux, and kept the party going all night long. He was at the venue well in advance, and remained flexible throughout the day as we watched the weather to decide if we would be inside or out. Chris was prepared for either scenario. I got tons of compliments on the music selections, as he played lots of current songs, and some traditional wedding favorites -- sure to please the whole crowd! He is well worth the rate he charges, and (sorry future brides), I think he should even up his rate! I would recommend him in a second!

We had SUCH a positive experience working with Chris Wright! He was incredibly responsive and professional from the get-go! I absolutely loved his wedding planning site which made the whole process fun and easy! Chris was awesome and had everyone up on the dance floor all night long! He never tried to steal the show but just played the right music at the right times and kept everything flowing beautifully. He even mixed in a michael jackson medley to our first dance so we could surprise our guests with a choreographed routine! Since I live in North Carolina, I was worried that planning from so far away would be difficult but Chris made it a breeze. The online planning tool was great and Chris was easily accessible through email and other social networks. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants a memorable reception!!

Chris was a great DJ. Very professional and easy to work with. He was extremely flexible even with last minute weather changes and venue changed. All of our guests raved about how good the music was and we couldnt have had more fun! He took requests, respected our "do not play" list and was extremely accomodating throughout the entire process. Chris Wright of Discovery DJ's of New York was exactly the person that we wanted for our wedding! He did a great job and made our wedding a very fun time. He did everything that we asked him to and so much more. He even added a few songs for us that we wanted played that weren't in their song list. We really enjoyed having him as our DJ and if we ever need to hire a DJ for any other reason, we will absolutely pick him! I found Mr.Wright online thru his website. I was able to pretty much plan everything from there. The only thing which could of been on my end I wish I had met him before the wedding. Other than that I don't think I could of asked for more out of our DJ. My husband will be turning 30 this year and a party is in order and will definately be looking at Mr.Wrights services again.
