It was about 2 months until my wedding and I was at the end of my rope when it came to searching for wedding ceremony musicians. I knew that I wanted a classical stringed quartet but the few that I had found were way too expensive. Than my mother had come across Classical Wedding Musicians on Saratoga Springs Wedding Website. We gave them a call and found that their prices were very reasonable! While the other musicians I had found were well over $1000 for about one hour of service, these musicians were easily under $1000, I believe that they were charging somewhere around $700/$750 for a stringed quartet and $550 for a trio. After speaking with Sue Nazzaro on the phone she mailed me a c.d. with recordings of her group playing popular wedding music. It sounded very nice. We were looking for a group to play contemporary music and she said as long as they have sheet music, they'll be able to play it. To keep things simple I searched and shopped and found about 6 songs sheet music; three songs to play while guests were getting themselves seated, one song for the bridal party procession, one for the brides procession and one song for the recession, then I mailed them to her. The only disappointing part was that I wasn't able to sit in on a rehersal or meet them ahead of time, I wasn't sure why. Fortunately it all turned out beautifully. So many people were blown away! I had been nervous about not hearing them prior for two reasons, we had chosen to go with a trio (budget) and I wasn't sure if it would sound as full, and because the songs I chose were not classical I wasn't sure if it would sound beautiful or just odd. Well I had no need to worry about either. The trio sounded just as beautiful and full as I could ever had hoped, and the chose in music was great! I had only gotten to hear my bridal party procession (being the bride and all, they had me hid away) which was "God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys and it was really beautiful. I was fine, nervous free all day until I heard them start to play that, the music brought tears to my eyes it was so beautiful. I received many, many compliments on their music.Brides, if you're looking for the stunningly beautiful, classical stringed musicians but are still on a budget (or even if you're not) I highly recommend calling up Sue Nazzaro with Classical Wedding Musicians. Don't be nervous when you don't meet them ahead of time or have any idea how they will sound, just trust that they will sound beautifully and impress all of your guests!Just know, that they need chairs without arms, they need to be out of the sun (our outdoor ceremony got moved inside due to rain. because of the instruments they can't even be out in a drizzle), and they arrive about 1 1/2 hours early to prepare. Sit back and enjoy!
