Boathouse Restaurant

We had our wedding there a few weeks ago and it was really amazing. The staff was super professional, extremely flexible and overall just wanted to make sure that we had the best, stress-free day. For Lake George pricing, they are the best value for money and really cared that they did a great job. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

I'm honestly not sure where to begin. All I can say is that our day was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I cannot believe we had such an amazing wedding that fit our budget. Jayne was so great to work with. We live out of town, so she responded quickly and professionally to my many many emails. Dan and his staff decorated the restaurant exactly as I had envisioned. They didn't ask for any help. Some of my friends stayed in the Lodges for the weekend, which provided the perfect reunion location with great views. I just cannot stress enough how thankful I am that I found the Boathouse Restaurant for our wedding. The rustic elegance was the perfect feel for a wedding that felt cozy and fun, and we enjoyed the bonfire after. Friends were telling us they want us to renew our vows every year so that we can do it all over again! When people talk about our wedding, they usually mention the word "perfect" and I have to agree!

My husband and I picked the Boathouse due to the price, friendliness of the staff, accommodations, and responsiveness. They always returned are calls promptly. Jane was fantastic; she is their wedding coordinator. The week before the wedding, they called to confirm all details. They were the only venue that called to confirm every detail. The day of the wedding, they let our guests in to decorate and our other vendors as well. They included everything from the linens, to setting up all the tables, and even included the place settings. The food was amazing. Our guests wouldn't stop talking about it. Each meal came out hot and well prepared. They staff was very attentive. They kept the bar open until 10pm for our guest to drink during the bonfire. For the price, location, and what's included you can't beat it. The boathouse makes your wedding day perfect. If we had to do it again, we would definitely pick them, no question. Thanks Dan and Jane!!!

I just spent the best weekend at your lodge for my wedding. We were spoiled rotten, along with the rest of us of my family!!! I have to thank our server Adrien(sp??) for everything he did all weeekend. His service on Thursday night during my family's dinner was impecable - he remembered everything!!! To his service on Saturday night where he drove my twin sister down to our lodge, then helped them set up candles and champagne, then went and got them ice and their toasting glasses. Clearly, he went over and beyond his call of duty and I can't tell enough how greatful we are for everthing he did. Also, the bartender was absolutely fabulous!!! I can't remember his name, but he just celebrated his 1 yr anniversary with his wife and he is a Boston Red Sox fan. . . well we are a big fan of his!! He spoiled us rotten and made sure that every single one of our guests were taken care of. There were 2 female servers who also spolied me, the bride, rotten! They made sure I had plenty to drink & eat, plus placed a bandage on my foot when I was bleeding from my shoes cutting in to my 'non-stop dancing' toes! Finally, Jayne and Dan couldn't have been any better!!! I have to rave about Jayne! Ever since I contacted her and Dan, they were always there when I needed them. In the end, my entire family couldn't agree more that there couldn't have been a better place to go to besides the Lodges at the Cresthaven and the Boat House Resteraunt. We can't wait to come back again and celebrate our next family function!!!! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, everyone truly made our wedding a day one we will never forget!!!!

My husband wanted to get married in my hometown of Lake George because he fell in love with the lake and mountains. He's from Southern California so we wanted his friends and family to appreciate this beautiful area as much as we do. We wanted a unique venue that had an Adirondack theme where we could have a beach ceremony and that's exactly what we found at the Boathouse Restaurant. We stayed at one of the lodges that overlooked the beach where our ceremony was held and it was perfect for us girls to get ready. We had a small wedding (85 guests) so after the beach ceremony, people moved to the upstairs deck bar area for the cocktail hour, and then we were able to fit everyone outside on the lower deck for dinner where we could hear the water splashing against the beach just under our feet. Then we moved the party inside the beautiful restaurant for dancing and cake cutting. We loved the fact that we had separate areas for each part of our reception. We didn't need to move tables out of the way and we had the largest dance floor out of any venue we visited. Jayne & Dan were extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process, especially since we were planning it from California! They catered to all of our needs and suggested different options so we were aware of all of our choices. They let us modify some menu choices to fit our preferences. The wedding day itself went off without a hitch and we owe it all to Jayne, Dan, and the rest of the wonderful staff at the Boathouse Restaurant who got every little detail right. Our guests are still talking about how it was the classiest wedding that they had ever been to, yet it was very affordable for us who were paying for it ourselves. Also, the Boathouse has so many scenic options for photos, we were thrilled at how great they came out. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful venue to anyone - you won't be disappointed!

I loved it there everything went perfect. The only thing is when you plan your wedding make sure everything is planed out in 2 months in advance because then you'll forget things and its your day to relax not stress so enjoy it. <3
