My husband and I just got married two weeks ago and we were more than happy with the service and quality that Black Diamond Caterers had to offer. We were looking for a non-traditional catering company that would allow us to create a menu that was reflective of our personalities and they were up to the challenge! We had everything from amuse bouche (pomme frites, fish tacos, petit chicken pot pies) to a "cheesey station" with homemade mac n cheese, panini station, and homemade pickles and olives. We were married at our family's house and so they brought old fashioned charcoal smokers and smoked jerk turkey and burgers outside of the tent. Everything that they make is handmade, creative, and delicious. If you're a true "foodie" and want your guests to actually eat the food that you serve at your wedding, then this is the company for you! We can't wait to see them again and to have another reason to have them cater an event for us.

Black Diamond Caterers made our cake. We didn't want a traditional cake. We had a "sticky toffee cake" with caramel sauce. It was very unique and incredibly delicious. It's probably the standout "thing" that the guests talked about. Black Diamond were really great to work with our venue and deliver the cake and make it look good on the hottest day of 2008!

We had our wedding at the Pruyn House in Newtonville (aka Loudonville) NY. In that setting there was just a venue - it was outdoors and they had to bring everything. $7,000 sounds like a lot but they were awesome. We had about 4 beers and 4 wines available for the whole night (including Guiness) and people liked the variety. They did butlered hors d'oeuvres for over an hour as we took photos. Then when we came in there was a cold buffett (we did all cold dishes to cut down on the cost - hot stations like carving stations are more $$) including chilled beef tenderloin and poached salmon. The flavors were amazing. Great service. They cleaned up everything and I didn't have to worry at all. I would highly recommend Black Diamond Caterers!
